Completing Toastmasters Competent Communicator Track

I had high hopes of becoming a more skillful public speaker and had set out an ambitious plan to finish the Advanced Communicator track by the end of 2008.

The sole reason why I didn’t follow through on this resolution was because I didn’t make it a priority in my life and made too many excuses not to attend and do my speeches.

As of now, I’ve finished 7 speeches out of 10.  I have one that’s prepared entitled “Change Your Habits Change Your Life” but I didn’t deliver because of the ‘excuse’ of school commitments :)

This year, I’ll tone it down a notch and make it one of my priorities as I only have 2 courses to finish up my Accounting degree.
